Community Based Support - Spring Cleaning Program

This program provides annual spring cleaning to eligible clients; including cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, light fittings, skirting boards, windows, gutters, stoves, high dusting and Venetian blinds. Turning of mattresses is also included.

Program details
Spring Cleaning services includes:
• Internal and external window cleaning.
• Gutters.
• Cleaning stoves.
• Turning mattresses.
• High dusting.
• Moving furniture to clean under.
• General cleaning (including kitchens, bathrooms and toilets and other surfaces etc.), light fittings, skirtings.

Either a contractor or a Community Based Support staff member will contact you by telephone or letter to arrange a time to carry out the service.

A maximum of two-and-a-half man hours for a unit and three man hours for a house will be provided, but hours of service and priorities will depend on the cost of tasks requested. This will be determined in consultation with the contractor.

Is dependent on the overall demand for the service, a client’s individual needs and available resources at the time of assessment.

*What does the service cost?
A flat fee of $10 is charged for this service

The Spring Cleaning Program is funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Program and Tasmanian Home and Community Care Program.

Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm (except public holidays).
