Hobart City Mission - Small Steps

Small Steps is a live-in supported program that provides safe and secure accommodation and support for young women up to the age of 25 with infants, who are at risk of State care intervention due to a lack of secure accommodation or supportive systems.

Small Steps provides 24 hour support and assistance to help young mothers develop parenting and life skills, to transition them into independent living.

The program aims to create a nurturing and supportive environment where both mother and baby thrive, thereby increasing the likelihood of a baby remaining in its mother's care.

Anyone in Southern Tasmania can enquire about moving into the program.
