MACE (Motorcyclists Advocating Child Empowerment)

MOTORCYCLISTS ADVOCATING CHILD EMPOWERMENT (MACE) INC. Is a social motorcycle club which exists to empower children who have suffered from trauma and any form of child abuse. We support them through their journey to safe and free from abuse. Members of M.A.C.E volunteer their time to help protect children and their families that are breaking free from trauma and abuse. Offering their time to be with them, through their journey to empowerment. M.A.C.E helps by providing a presence when our client, feels threatened imitated or harassed.

M.A.C.E work alongside other relevant agencies, non for profit organisation and charities who are also assisting in the healing, protection and empowerment of young people that have been traumatised. We support our client from the point of leaving traumatic situations, disclosure, interviews , court hearings in child sexual/physical abuse and other traumatic situations they are experiencing where our presence and assistance is needed.

Our goal is for the child/children to feel safe, protected, supported and eventually empowered and our services are no longer required. We rely on the community for our fundraising. Organising and attending other charity rides, raising funds and receiving donations to raffle. We contribute to other charities and organisations which support and provide services to traumatised families. M.A.C.E also promote and liaise with others that provide education, awareness and protective behaviour
